Supervise daily cash room operations following all company procedures.


Associates degree in business or accounting  OR minimum 2-4 years relevant experience.

Strong organizational and analytical skills, detail oriented and possess good interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to use copy machine, computer and phone system.

Ability to perform sedentary work (defined as exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, and requires walking or standing only occasionally).

Visual acuity necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, for accounting, for transcription, for computer terminal use, for extensive reading and to operate machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach.

  Job Specific Duties

Plan, supervise and coordinate cash room operations, including processing receipts and related bookkeeping and accounting functions.

Exercise full supervisory authority over staff of 2-8.

Plan and conduct training and coordinate activities.

Assign and review work for accuracy, assist staff members with difficult or unusual tasks, and resolve situations when they arise.  Create work schedules for Cash Room staff members.

administer and assist in planning the cash room operating budget.

Monitor all cash room operations regularly.

Ensure that all established cash control procedures are followed by staff.

Assist the Accounting Department in processing credit card charge backs and help coordinate this with banks and operating departments.

Oversee/carry out the preparation of various daily and other regular or special reports, including downloading RTP data into an Excel spreadsheet.  Reconciling and preparing reports for actual sales and deposits. Prepare a variety of administrative/operations reports and records.

Carry out various special projects related to the functionality and design of Cash Rooms.

Carry out a variety of planning tasks related to setting up operations prior to each season.

Confer regularly with immediate manager and other department staff members in planning and coordinating activities and resolving company issues involving the operation of the Cash Room. Communicate regularly with banks to reorder change, resolve deposit problems and the like.

Order, maintain and distribute RFID media, vouchers, and summer ticket stock.

Order and maintain an appropriate inventory of cash room equipment and supplies.

Maintain credit card machines, equipment and supplies for revenue-generating departments.

Ensure all vaults are in operating order including periodic changes of vault combinations.

Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.  Interact and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Please note skiing and snowboarding is not part of your job.
