The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge

Inspired by the natural surroundings of Vermont and the rustic elegance of the Green Mountains, The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge will create an unsurpassed environment for relaxation, renewal and rejuvenation.

The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge focuses on the simplicity of nature, embracing the natural elements of Vermont and incorporating the four seasons - winter, spring, summer and fall - into all aspects from treatments to interior finishes. Natural and organic textures and colors, rich stones, rustic woods, patina coppers and atmospheric lighting, seamlessly blend with the views of the surrounding mountains.

Integrating the natural elements of water, fire and air with sensory elements found in nature, The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge creates a journey for the user from constant stimulation to a restful and peaceful environment, a true sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Cooper Wellness at Stowe

An integration of nature, nurture and knowledge.

For those guests who seek better health, personal well-being, and relaxation on a long-term basis, Stowe Mountain Lodge introduces Cooper Wellness at Stowe, a distinctive experience endorsed by the Dallas-based Cooper Aerobics Center. The Cooper Aerobics Center philosophy is that it is easier to maintain good health than to regain it once it is lost, and their mission is to provide resources and assistance needed in order to do just that. Cooper Wellness at Stowe aims to bring lifelong health to guests through nutritional counseling, physical fitness and behavioral modification.

Guests of Stowe Mountain Lodge have the opportunity to visit Cooper Wellness at Stowe for quick "Wellness Weekend" trips, where they can take advantage of special health programs and seminars focusing on healthy lifestyle choices. Those who require more in-depth counseling and attention may book visits in multi-day blocks of time, during which time they are able to meet with Cooper experts, including personal fitness trainers, nutrition counselors and behavior coaches, to evaluate their current physical state as well as future wellness goals. The natural surroundings of Stowe are incorporated into treatment whenever possible, with outdoor activities like hiking, trail running, golf, snowshoeing and skiing replacing the ubiquitous treadmill for exercise. Follow-up counseling is an important part of the wellness experience, with staff prescribing new lifestyle management skills and contacting guests regularly after their visits to assess their progress.
