Other Winter Activities

There are several fun Winter activities to do around the Mountain besides skiing and snowboarding on your own. Check out a few of these options:

Ice Skating at Spruce Peak

Located just steps from the Spruce Camp Base Lodge is the brand-new Ice Rink at Spruce Peak Village Center. Our rink is the perfect complement to your Stowe Mountain Resort experience.

Nordic Center

Spend time in the woods on our cross country ski and snowshoe trails. Stowe Mountain Resort’s Cross Country Ski Center offers 45 km of groomed trails and 30 km of backcountry terrain. At our rental shop, we offer a full menu of nordic snowsport gear including snowshoes, touring gear, performance skate ski and classic ski packages, backcountry and telemark gear. We also have a full selection of kids gear down to age three, including little snowshoes and sleds for the sledding hill. Also available is a pulk sled for parents with infants/toddlers. The Nordic Center is weather-dependent, please check the web page or call 802-253-3602 for conditions.

Mountain Tours

Host-guided mountain tours are a great way to learn more about our Resort. Tours meet and begin at 10:30am weekends and holidays outside of the Spruce Camp Base Lodge.

Join us on Competition Hill for expert race advice and training. Or arrange a fun group outing. Reserve the space for your private group or hop in a clinic…and take your racing to the next level.
