World Class Dining at Vermont’s Highest Peak! The Cliff House is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to handle a high volume of lunches and specialty dinners throughout the upcoming winter season. We are proud supporters of the Vermont Fresh Network and the Vermont Farm-to-Table food movement.

The Sous Chef is responsible for the daily line operations of the Cliff House restaurant kitchen. 3-5 years prior experience in a high volume environment are required. Primary responsibilities include oversight and production of high quality, fresh and flavorful food while playing a leadership role in fostering a positive work atmosphere. Additional responsibilities include providing staff training in key areas and participation in our comprehensive safety program. The menu features regional American cooking with a rustic Vermont flair.

This is a seasonal position with recreational benefits, beginning in December and completing in April, with opportunities to continue into Summer / Fall season based on winter season performance. For the right candidate this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to grow and develop their culinary skills at the summit of Mt. Mansfield.
