Applying to Stowe Ski & Snowboard School
We are currently accepting applications for part-time Ski Instructor positions for the winter 2009-10 season. We have no full-time Ski Instructor positions nor any Snowboard Instructor positions at this time.
Ski & Snowboard Instructors Requirements:
- Passionate about teaching skiing and riding. Non-certified coaches spend their time teaching children, 3-14 years old.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Own equipment in good working order
- Adhere to or surpass our company grooming and appearance standards.
- Have a solid black ski pant (we provide uniform jackets).
- Have reliable transportation to the mountain.
- Commit to an approved calendar including peak holiday periods, weekends, and possibly UK school business in early April.

2. Are you an alpine skier of at least intermediate ability level? (Required)
3. Do you own ski equipment in good repair? (Required and must pass a safety check).
4. For how many seasons and where have you taught skiing?
5. What is your level of certification with PSIA?
6. Just confirming you are you looking for a part time position? (We have no openings for FT staff members.)
7. Have you read and do you agree to abide by our company Appearance Standards?
8. Do you have reliable transportation to the mountain?
9. What is your mailing address?
10. Tell us a short teaching story that may help us to get to know you better...
Once we receive your inquiry with the above information we will mail you a hiring packet with lots of information about our school and the hiring process. You will be required to send the following back to us prior to scheduling an interview.

Other available positions that are affiliated with the Ski & Snowboard School :
· Daycare attendants for children 1 to 3 years. We also have a few positions which combine daycare duties with teaching in our growing 3 yr old ski program. Write to Kelly Blaine.
