Agathe von Trapp, 90 years of age, signs her book at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe on Saturday. "Agathe von Trapp: Memories Before and After The Sound of Music" is a memoir that explains the real story of her family - which is different in many ways from the Broadway play and Disney movie. In real life, Agathe had an older brother, but in the musical and movie the eldest child was a girl, "Liesl." And while the movie showed the von Trapp family escaping the Nazis by hiking through the Alps, they really crossed the street and boarded a train. It's a fascinating book, so grab a copy if you can!
