Junior Golf

“Golf is a Sport, and Golfers are Athletes”

Our Junior Golf Program has taught thousands of children the life enhancing qualities that the game of golf instills. From the early days of Stowe Country Club, Joe Kirkwood brought a love of teaching and he loved teaching children above anything else. We pride ourselves on providing a family friendly environment where your children feel welcomed and where you know that they are safe. Download our Jr Golf Information Sheet

Spring After School Program

We have developed a new Junior Golf After School Program that will run from May 12th through June 5th, every Tuesday through Friday from 3:30pm – 5:00pm. The cost is $150

PGA Jr. League

This is a team compiled of 12 boys and girls ages 13 and under who will compete as a team against other clubs in the area. This is a local, regional and national program. It is structured in a way to provide a fun experience in a less stressful scramble format. We had a great first season in 2013 and looking forward to continuing that success. The season will start in mid June and have approximately 8 events, 4 home and 4 away. During the season there will be one practice session a week also. The kids receive a shirt and a rules book. Kirkwood Junior Golf Scholarship

Joe Kirkwood was Stowe’s first golf professional and had a tremendous love for teaching children the game of golf and the Kirkwood Invitational was started in 1967 as a way to raise funds for Stowe Junior Golf. These funds are used for purchasing equipment, training supplies, trophies, and most importantly it has purchased over 100 children JR Memberships to Stowe CC.
