Who Needs Snow?
Stowe is an outstanding destination even after the snow melts. Take a look at some of these exciting activities and events and you'll quickly realize summer and autumn are just as much fun as winter.
GOLF
In addition to activities at the mountain, Stowe Mountain Resort is the premier 36-hole golf destination in New England, offering two distinctive golfing experiences.
Stowe Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course and Golf Academy. Take lessons from our PGA and LPGA pros, play a round of golf on a truly spectacular course and then enjoy a meal at Kirkwood 's Pub in the clubhouse. Group rates are available. For more info call the Stowe Country Club at 802-253-4893.
Stowe Mountain Golf Club has been recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the "Top 10 New Courses You Can Play." The course meanders along the slopes of Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak, reaching an elevation of more than 1800 feet. The resort course is exclusive to Stowe Mountain Club members, as well as guests of the extraordinary Stowe Mountain Lodge, a luxury resort hotel located at the base of Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak.
ON THE MOUNTAIN
Mount Mansfield offers a full range of outdoor recreational adventures. Ride the gondola to the peak, where you can hike or take in stunning views while relaxing over lunch at the beautiful Cliff House Restaurant. Play tennis or take a clinic at The Inn at the Mountain Tennis Club. At the base of adjoining Spruce Peak, try the exhilarating alpine slide (the only one in Northern Vermont). Our Summer Mountain Adventure Camp for kids ages 3 -12 is based at the Midway Base Lodge.
