4th Annual Golf Club Swap

Many people, especially beginners, ask us if we sell used clubs, so we have developed this program where you can bring you old clubs up to the golf shop to sell them, when they sell you get 100% the money in the form of SMR gift certificates. * Bring in your old clubs to us. Tell us how much you would like to get for them. We will use a national used golf club bluebook if you are unsure of their value. * If we sell your clubs, you will receive the full amount in gift certificates. Use them anywhere at the resort…towards, merchandise, green fees, or towards a new set of custom Cleveland clubs. * The swap will take place the weekend of May 19 - May 27 from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The clubs will be displayed outside on tables and there will be an attendant on duty at all times. * We will begin taking clubs for the swap 7 days in advance. If your clubs do not sell, you must have them picked up by the following weekend, or they will be donated to the junior program. GOLF CLUB SWAP RULES Checking In/ Getting Your Clubs Ready For Sale. You may drop clubs off anytime during the sale beginning Saturday, May 19, 2007. You will need to fill out a clubs check-in form and item tag. On the clubs check-in form list all the clubs you are putting up for sale. Decide on a sale price. We can assist if you are unsure on the value of your equipment. At your request, we will make and give you a copy of your completed list for your records. In addition, please complete an item tag for each item to be sold. Each tag must have a good description of the item for sale. Please describe any special features, as well as any flaws/problems with the clubs (ie, Big Bertha irons, 5 yrs. old, missing 6 iron, otherwise good as new). We will laminate & attach the tag to the item for you. How the sale will work: Sale hours are Saturday, May 19th through Monday, May 27th from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Purchasing an item: All items for sale will be displayed outdoors under the awning directly outside the pro shop. Each item is marked with a tag that lists the seller’s name, item description and price. To purchase an item, bring the item (with the tag attached) to the pro shop counter. Cash, credit cards and checks are appropriate methods of payment. Sellers' Check-Out Process: Each seller must remove all unsold items from the auction area by 3:00 pm on Tuesady. Gift certificates for sold product will be available the end of each business day. SMR is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Unclaimed items will be donated to the junior golf program.
