Freestyle Scene at Stowe
At Stowe Mountain Resort, our two mountains are naturally divided into six distinct areas that each provide a unique atmosphere for skiers and riders. One of the six is the Mansfield Triple area. This ranks high with skiers and riders most interested in freestyle terrain parks and other freestyle treats because you can find top-to-bottom freestyle once you are off the lift.
***See Stowe Parks photos below the Park descriptions.***
Midway Small Park – Located near the base of the Gondola this is a great introduction to freestyle terrain with small roller jumps, low level bonks and new this season – box features of varying shapes to help get your freestyle journey started.
North Slope Small/Medium Park – This season, we’re turning this park into a more expansive small/medium park, almost twice the size as before with lots of new features, perfect for your progression to coming from Midway.
Lower Standard Medium Park – Home to our Freestyle Slopestyle events, this freshly developed medium park will showcase new rail and box features as well as the pyramid wall to enhance the new park spot.
Fifth Avenue Rail Garden – Just off the top of the Mansfield Triple chair is where one can start the freestyle journey . Fifth Ave has been the gateway to most of our Park terrain, with medium rails, boxes and bonks of every kind. We like to add new features to this park often so keep checking it out!
Lord (of the Rails) Medium Rail Garden – This Park was added new last season and we all loved the addition it brought to our freestyle terrain! It’s back again and will offer medium level bonks, rails and boxes for those who just can’t get enough.
Tyro Large Park – This is our highest level park we offer and contains the biggest jumps, rails, and boxes. Before you step into this, or ANY of our parks, be sure to follow the Smart Style:
MAKE a plan – LOOK before you leap – EASY style it – RESPECT gets respect.
