For ages 7-12, the Epic Local Child Pass provides access to the best of the West, Midwest, Northeast and more.

For ages 5-6, pass options include the Ohio Tot Pass and the Northeast Value Tot pass. For ages 4 and under, a complimentary Epic Pass is available. Products are available in-resort or by phone at 970-754-0083.

Availability or Peak Resort Passes

With the introduction of our new Northeast Value Pass and Northeast Midweek Pass products across the Northeast and Midwest regions, we will no longer offer the Explorer, Drifter, Ranger, Traveler, and Scout Passes.  For guests looking for unlimited, unrestricted access across the former Peak Resorts, the Epic Local Pass will offer the best value as well as expanded access to our world-class destinations such as Vail, Whistler Blackcomb, Park City, and Breckenridge.  For guests willing to navigate restrictions and that plan to ski in the Northeast, the new Northeast Value Pass and Northeast Midweek Pass offer great value with access across the region.  For guests ages 6 and under looking for a Scout Pass, we are proud to offer incredible value options including the complementary 4 and Under Epic Pass providing unlimited unrestricted access at no cost, and the Northeast Tot Pass for guests ages 5-6.

No, Epic Mountain Rewards are not currently available at Vail Resorts’ partner resorts. Vail Resorts is partnered with the following resorts where Epic Mountain Rewards cannot be redeemed:

2020/21 Epic Season Passes do not include Spring Skiing access for Spring 2020. Guests who do not have a 2019/20 Season Pass will be able to leverage the Turn In Your Ticket Program to apply the cost of their Lift Ticket on or after 3/3/2020 towards a 2020/21 Season Pass. Access for 2020/21 Epic Season Passes will start in Oct 2020 and vary by Resort opening date. Guests who purchase passes that include summer access will be able to use their Summer access for Summer Resort activities. Please see pass details for more information.
No, Epic Mountain Rewards can be used throughout the entire 2020-21 ski season without blackout dates. Pass holders will still have blackout dates for lift access based on the pass product they purchased, but they can redeem Epic Mountain Rewards discounts throughout the season. 
Children 4 and under receive a complimentary Epic Pass. The Northeast Value Tot pass is available for children 5-6 years old for $49. The Northeast Value Tot pass will replace the Okemo/Sunapee 6 & Under Pass for the 2020/21 season.
Pass holders are automatically enrolled in Epic Mountain Rewards when they purchase an eligible 2020-21 pass.  The new program is simple - no sign up and no points to redeem.

All season passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Season pass refunds are available only when a guest purchased season pass insurance and has a valid claim under the insurance policy. Any refund is based on the cost of the season pass minus a daily rate for every day used up to the face value of the season pass. Spring pass purchasers receive summer 2020 sightseeing lift access. If the pass is purchased after the lifts close for the summer, the benefit is no longer available. Epic Day Pass is not eligible for Summer scenic access.
Yes, night skiing will be included at all eligible resorts for free on the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Northeast Value Pass, Northeast Midweek Pass, Military Epic Pass and Epic Day Pass.
Uphill access is not included in the Epic Pass product benefits. Epic Pass holders will need to purchase uphill access separately at each resort based on the resort's current day rate or season pass rate.

Buddy Tickets are discounted, single day lift tickets set at a flat price for family and friends. For a limited time only you will receive 10 buddy tickets when you purchase a pass this Spring. Buddy Tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the resort with the pass holder present. Tickets are offered with a select variety of Epic Season passes including:

Ski With A Friend (SWAF) Tickets are discounted, single day lift tickets loaded onto your pass for friends and family. SWAF Tickets vary in price based on the daily window ticket price on the date you plan to ski. The Season Pass holder must be present at the time of purchase. SWAF tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the resort with the pass holder present. Tickets are offered with a select variety of Epic Season passes including:

This new loyalty program is simple for the guest – no sign up, no point tracking, and no blackout days for the discounts. Pass holders can receive the 20% savings by presenting their pass at the register, logging into their account to book online, or by verifying their pass number when calling our reservation center. In addition to the significant discount already offered by purchasing a pass product (up to 65% off as compared to lift tickets), a family of four can now save hundreds of dollars per day on food, lodging, lessons, rentals, transportation, and mountain activities. Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your Season Pass every year, while guaranteeing next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 down in mid-April and the balance in mid-September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your Pass will automatically renew next April for the 2021/22 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. Congrats on your new pass! For first time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed after your photo upload is accepted, reviewed, and processed.  All passes for next season will start to mail in May and take about 7-10 days to arrive. Alternatively, you may have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office. Some resorts will have this functionality starting in fall.

If you renewed your pass, continue to use the same pass media from last season. Your pass will be activated the day full payment is received.

 
Yes, if you have an Epic Season Pass from the 2019/20 season and you renew into the same product your card will be automatically activated. If you are purchasing a different product than you had last year, you will need a new access card. 

Photo Upload Information: Our pass and pack products require a photo of each pass holder. If you have had an Epic pass for any past season, you may already have a photo on file and do not need to upload a photo at this time. If you have had a Peak Pass product in the Past you will need to upload a new photo for the 2020/21 season. If you do not currently have a photo on file, you can upload your photo online. Sign in to your account to check if you have a photo loaded, for more information on how to upload a photo and to check our pass photo requirements. You cannot replace an existing photo online at this time.

 

Complete Photo Requirements:

  • Image should be in .jpg format
  • Photo must be a square image, rectangular images such as those taken on smart phones will not upload, please crop photo to be square
  • 400 x 400 pixels
  • The photo should show a clear, front view, full face of the guest
  • The guest should be in normal attire, without hat or glasses
  • The guest should have a natural expression, and eyes open and looking directly ahead
  • The head of the person being photographed should not be tilted up, down or to the side
  • There should be a strong definition between the face and background
  • The head should be centered in the photo
  • The head should cover about 50% of the area of the photo

For a limited time, guests can pay $49 down in the spring with the remaining balance charged on or around September 10, 2020. By putting $49 down, pass holders are committing to buying their pass(es) for the 2020/21 season. The $49 initial payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded unless eligible under pass insurance. 
In addition to purchasing season passes online, season passes will be available for purchase at all resort ticket windows, with the exception of newly added Peak Resort locations including Mount Snow, Hunter Mountain, Attitash Mountain, Crotched Mountain, Wildcat Mountain, Liberty Mountain, Roundtop Mountain, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine, Mad River, Hidden Valley, Snow Creek, and Paoli Peaks. Stay tuned for more information on options to purchase your pass from resort locations.
Passes will be mailed beginning in May. After May, please allow 7-10 business days after a valid photo is uploaded for your season pass to be delivered. If your pass does not arrive before you go skiing you can pick it up at the resort ticket office. Some resorts will have this functionality starting in fall.  When your pass arrives, you can go directly to the lift with no need to go to resort ticket office.
