StoweisnowEPIC_faqpage

The FAQs below address specific questions regarding Vail Resorts’ Stowe access to the Epic Season Pass lineup for the 2017/2018 season.

TOP QUESTIONS:

If I plan to ski Stowe on my Epic Pass can I go straight to the lift?

You will need to use an Evolution Stowe Card (ESC) to ski Stowe this season.  Please visit the ticket window marked “Epic Express” to receive an expedited card. In order for  your Epic Pass to be converted to the ESC, you are required to submit a photo for your Epic Pass and you must have confirmation of your Epic Pass purchase.  If you have an Evolution Stowe Card in hand, and purchased a full Epic Pass, your card may have already been activated for the 17/18 season.  To verify, or if you have any questions, please call 1-800-253-4754 (4SKI).

We will be working during the 17/18 season to get the Stowe Mountain Resort system to work with the Epic Pass so you will be able to go straight to lift for the 18/19 season.

I purchased my Epic Pass online but have not yet received my actual Epic Pass. Can I access Stowe?

Yes, bring your Epic Pass confirmation, a photo ID and your Evolution Stowe Card (if you have one) to the Epic Express ticket window. Please make sure you have completed your Epic Pass requirements.  If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at 970-754-0005

No, we are no longer offering the Young Adult Pass. However, there are two options depending on how many days, and where you want to ski. How do I get the best deal for my family?
The Epic Pass lineup offers multiple options that, when packaged together, are the best price to ski this winter. Because season passes offer up to 40% savings off of lift ticket prices, there is no additional discount for families.

Is the price of the Epic Pass products increasing in price because of the addition of Stowe?
No, the Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass prices will not be increasing because of the addition of Stowe. Over the years, we’ve added several new mountain resorts to our collection and yet the price of the pass has basically risen in conjunction with inflation, not because of the acquisitions.  Purchasing your pass early secures the best price and the best benefits. As the season gets closer, the price increases.  We encourage all guests to purchase their season pass before September 4th to lock in the lowest price.

Can I exchange my Stowe lift tickets for a season pass?
Yes, please buy your desired Epic Pass product online. Once you have purchased, please go to the Stowe ticket window and show your receipt, and you will be refunded your ticket purchase amount. If you need help with this, please contact (970)754-0005 for assistance.

If you lose your Epic Pass, please go to your local lift ticket window or contact your Season Pass Expert at (970)754-0005.
