Planning your visit to Stowe this winter? We’ve made getting here and parking simple, so you can focus on the fun. Complimentary parking is available seven days a week at the Toll House Base Area and Cross Country Center, with convenient shuttle service to the slopes. On weekends and holidays from mid-December through March, paid parking is in effect at all Mansfield & Midway Base Area lots. Staying in town? Skip the drive and hop on the free Mountain Road Shuttle. For seamless access to The Village at Spruce Peak, the Over Easy Transfer Gondola offers a quick and scenic ride across the resort.

 

Winter Parking & Arrival Information: 

Mansfield Base Area Parking:

  • Location: On the left after The Lodge at Spruce Peak on Rt. 108.

Designated Parking Areas:

  • Gondola SkyRide parking: A3, A2, A1.
  • General resort parking: Main Mount Mansfield lot.

Transfer to Spruce Peak Village: Take the complimentary Over Easy Gondola for access to Stowe Rocks, Cubs Daycare, and more.

Accessible Parking:

  • Free accessible parking locations:
    • Mansfield Base Lodge, Over Easy Gondola, Midway, B Lots, D2, Toll House Base Area Lots, Cross Country Center. Mansfield Base Area has accessible ramps to the lodge’s upper level.
    • Spruce Peak Base Area
      • Offers additional accessible options and a parking garage (not managed by Vail Resorts).
  • Paratransit Service:
    • Complimentary on the Mountain Road Shuttle. Call 802-748-8170 for details. 

EV Charging Stations:

  • Location: Lower B parking area near Midway Base Lodge.
  • Fee: $0.25/kWh (payable at charging stations).

RV & Overnight Parking:

  • Vehicles over 25’: Parking not available.

Directions to Stowe Mountain Resort

Guests from the north, south, east or west can take major interstates or highways almost to Stowe's doorstop.

From Burlington Vermont

Take Interstate 89 South. Follow I-89 South until you get to Exit 10 (Stowe/Waterbury exit). Make a left at the end of the exit ramp; this is Route 100 North. Follow this for 11 miles until you reach your first stop sign. This is the center of Stowe Village. Make a left at the stop sign onto Route 108 North, and follow this for approximately 6 miles until you reach the resort.

Traveling by Plane

Vermonters are used to dealing with snow, and our airport has some of the best snow removal equipment and experienced staff to keep the airport open in winter. Burlington International Airport (BTV) offers daily nonstop flights from major cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Detroit, New York City (LaGuardia and Kennedy), Newark, Philadelphia, Washington (Dulles and National), plus weekend flights from Orlando. Airlines operating at Burlington International Airport include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier, JetBlue, and United Airlines.

From Burlington International Airport, it's just a 40-minute, mostly interstate drive to Stowe. Taxi services and car rentals are available at the airport, and some lodges provide special transportation for groups.

Tradewind offers regularly scheduled nonstop service between Westchester, NY and Morrisville-Stowe State Airport (KMVL), located approximately 20 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort. For private aviation needs, Stowe Aviation is the fixed base operator at Morrisville-Stowe State Airport. 

 

Traveling by Train

Whether you're coming from Washington, DC, New York City or just about anywhere, you can take Amtrak to the Waterbury Station.
