How to Prepare for Your Lesson

Drop Off and Pick Up Information

Step 1:
Resort Arrival
  • Ski and Ride School drop-off is available at "The U" outside of The Adventure Center at Spruce Peak. The adjacent parking lot is available for short-term parking.
  • For parking logistics, a map of the base area, and related FAQs visit our Getting Here and Parking page
  • Arrive 60 minutes prior to your lesson start if renting ski/snowboard equipment.
  • Already have your gear? Arrive at the resort at least 30 minutes before your lesson starts.
Step 2:
Rental Equipment
  • If you need to pick up rental equipment head first to Spruce Camp Rentals.
Step 3:
Lesson Tags & Tickets
  • All lessons require a valid lift ticket or season pass to participate. Lift access can be picked up in The Adventure Center.
  • If it is your child's first day attending Stowe Ski and Ride School, head to The Adventure Center to pick up their child registration tag.
  • Lift access and child registration tags must be obtained before lesson begins.
Step 4:
Lesson Check-In
  • Once you have your gear, lift access, and your child registration tag, head to the base of the Adventure Triple to meet your instructor.
Lesson Start and Pick-Up Times
  • Full Day Child Lessons begin promptly at 9:00 AM
  • Afternoon First Timer Lessons begin promptly at 1:00 PM
  • All Child Group Lessons finish at 3:00 PM at the base of the Adventure Triple Chairlift.

  • AM Adult Group Lessons for all skill levels begin promptly at 9:30 AM
  • PM Adult First Timer Group Lessons begin promptly at 1:00 PM

  • PM Private Lessons begin promptly at 1:00 PM
